The first 48 hours after a theft
- Hour 0
You mark the piece stolen. Its registry file — serial, photos, receipts, identifying marks — becomes the evidence packet, ready to hand to police and platforms.
- Hours 0–12
Police report, done right: we walk you through filing it with the serial number on the report itself, because the pawn and trade databases police use match on serials.
- Hours 0–24
The serial goes on the lists dealers check: Tresory’s public ledger immediately, and registration with Enquirus (free, watches and jewelry) and The Watch Register (watches) with you.
- Hours 24–48
Market watch begins: saved searches tuned to your piece across eBay, Chrono24, Vestiaire, Fashionphile, and local marketplaces, checked on a standing cadence from then on.
